Netflix is a popular form of allowing users to watch any films, tv shows or documentaries at any time which makes it ideal for the target audience as they don’t have to pay for a DVD copy of the film but can just access through Netflix.
Selling the film at a film festival	Film festivals present a number of films this means that films can be presented in order to get a first impression of what audiences may think of the film .	The target audience may go to the cinema to view the film to see what they think of it and this data can be used towards the final copy of the film.

Based on the target audience it will be more likely that younger audience will watch television  which makes it ideal to use in order to gain interest of the target audience .
Digital ‘below the line ‘ advertising ( social media )	Social media is commonly used by younger generation and allows people to post videos , share images and to contact one another .	Social media will be ideal for promotion of film because of the majority of users are younger adults/teenagers it will suit the target audience .
Cross media marketing (YouTube videos)	Cross media marketing means to promote a product with the help of social media.	Since majority of films that are produced have trailers to give information of what a film is and what its about.

Storyline	The overall storyline involves a number of students being held in detention , the main teacher being murdered unexpectedly and the rest of film is based on the mystery behind the murder and solving it .	The storyline appeals to the audience as the themes related to the story makes the film have a darker storyline which will be suited to the target audience based on the events that occur in the film.
Situations	The situations that occur in the film are the students and both the teacher and TA enter the classroom , the lights go out and the teacher is murdered and the story progressing with most of the other characters also being killed and ending off with the protagonist and antagonist confronting each other at the end.	The given situations within the film appeal to the target  audience as the film is a thriller so therefore it should contain themes that make it appealing to the target audience such as suspense and mystery.
Themes	The themes that will be within the film mainly focus around suspense, death, investigation and crime. These themes are implemented throughout the events that take place within the film being the murder of the teacher , the mystery behind who committed the crime and confronting the person behind everything .	Based on the genre of the film being thriller its essential to ensure that the storyline contains themes that relate to the thriller genre in order to meet the criteria of the scenario.
